I have the privilege of working in the Cardiac Surgery Operating Room and occasionally I am presented with an opportunity to capture a particular scene during the day. My goal is to bring to life to the viewer the “routine goings on” within Cardiac Surgery.

Once again, work has provided me with an interesting composition about the typical day in Cardiac Surgery. This painting demonstrates the usual setup of a coronary artery bypass surgery or ‘CABG’ as it is usually referred to. Although this looks chaotic, everything in this painting represents a specific and essential component within bypass surgery.
